Bobcat Trail Marathon

The Bobcat Trail Marathon is a single loop course with rolling hills entirely within Burr Oak State Park, including hiking and bridle trails as well as portions of the Buckeye Trail. Approximately 90% trail and 10% asphalt. This is sure to be a marathon that will challenge you.
EARLY START
Early Start option at 6:00am. First aid station opens at 7:15am. (Early Start runners not eligible for Awards.)
It will be necessary for any partipants who chose the Early Start option to bring a headlamp/flashlight as well as their own nutrition and hydration supplies.
REGISTRATION
Online Registration opens on April 1, 2013 and ends November 1, 2013 or when race sells out.
Entry Fee:
$65 until August 31;
$75 from September 1 until September 30;
$90 afterwards.
Registration closes October 15 or when the race sells out.

COURSE
Loop course with rolling hills entirely within Burr Oak State Park, including hiking and bridle trails as well as portions of the Buckeye Trail. Approximately 90% trail and 10% asphalt.
Challenging and aggressive trail marathon with minimal, but some, pavement – mostly access roads from trail to trail. Course will be well-marked with several creek crossings and will have well-stocked aid stations.
Aid stations are located approximately every 3.2 miles stocked with water, PB&J, pretzels, potato chips, candy, fruit, soda, and Hammer Nutrition products. In an effort to minimize paper waste, all participants are strongly encouraged to carry a water bottle.
