The Dirty Trail Series has been a great way for me to transition from road running to trails and longer distances. I sign up for the whole series because I like that it takes me to parks I don’t normally run at and has a community atmosphere – it never fails that I have new friends by the November luncheon. I can always count on WRR events to be organized with well-marked courses and include a donation back to the parks. Plus, no other racing company has Jim’s jokes at the starting line – “It’s all downhill!” and “You’re almost done!”
