Our goal is to provide updated communication as often as possible. At this time, we are targeting Saturday, April 22nd for the Fool’s 50k/25k. Unfortunately, will not receive final word from the NPS until the weather picture and associated trail conditions become clearer. Not allowing events when trail conditions could lead to substantial damage is a new condition for us as well as the NPS that governs the CVNP. We respect our park systems and their needs and regret that this new process is not tried and true. We also greatly appreciate your patience.
Our cancellation policy states: “should the race be cancelled due to inclement weather or the course closed due to hazards, entry fees will immediately be applied to the following year’s race. Entry fees will not be refunded.” We are doing our best to reschedule and do not anticipate cancelling the event. The amount of support we have received has been overwhelmingly positive. We are grateful to be part of such an awesome running community. Thus, for those of you unable to make the race date, and who do not wish to defer to 2018, you will be offered an entry of equivalent value to any of our 2017 endurance races.
