2016 Familiarization Runs for the Burning River 100, 50-mile and Relay.
These events are free group runs, designed to go over each section of the 100 mile course. Everyone is welcome!
For these runs, the sections of the race will be run based on the 8-person relay legs. The legs range from 9.4 – 16.1 miles.
For each run, we’ll meet at the END point at 7:30 a.m., car pool to our starting point for the run, start at 8:00 a.m., and travel the course in the direction you will run it on race day. These are self-aided runs, so please bring water and any fuel you might need. Many of the areas of the parks do not have drinking water available so please plan accordingly. We will run together as a group. In the event there are others who know the course, we may split into smaller groups based on pace and reassemble at critical trail intersections. Details and course descriptions are provided on the Facebook event pages.
