Winter Buckeye Trail 50k/Marathon/Half Marathon Run

We brought back Joe’s Winter Buckeye Trail 50k/Marathon/Half Marathon run.  The 2018 race will start and finish at Oak Grove in the Brecksville Reservation. You have your choice of distances and the course will consist of several out and backs in both directions on the BT. Aid stations, medals, and delicious hot food & drinks will be available at the finish. Water bottles are strongly encouraged.

Despite the new location, this event is still a fundraiser for the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to them and their commitment to excellent trails.

AID STATIONS

• There will be a fully stocked aid station featuring Tailwind at the turnaround point of the 8 mile section, near the intersection of the Buckeye Trail and Bridle Trail, near Valley Parkway.
• A fully stocked aid station featuring Tailwind as well as hot food/drinks will be available at Oak Grove.
• Heater stations, fire places, and tents are available at Oak Grove but please note that this is an outdoor event in January and dress/prepare accordingly.

START TIMES/CUT OFF

• All distances start at 8:00a.m.
• Runners will have 9 hours to complete the course, it will close at 5:00p.m.
